    AeroVironment opened today at $25. Unfortunately, I was not allocated any shares in the IPO. How about you?

    I tried to get into the IPO as well, but also didn’t receive any shares. It was tough to get your hands on this one, not many shares being offered and high demand.

    It is like what I said in my post about buying IPOs, shares are randomly allocated based on the level of interest in the IPO. I estimate that 80-90% of the time, I am not allocated any shares after completing the whole procedure.

    The IPO game takes some perseverance. Better luck next time…
